Frequently asked questions
General
Yes—our yard is fully fenced with solid wood panels and is securely enclosed, with neighboring homes surrounding the property. We take safety very seriously and ensure dogs are always in a contained, supervised environment. You’re also more than welcome to schedule a visit to see our space in person and feel confident leaving your pet with us.
Yes—we follow a secure double-door policy at our front entry. One door is always closed before the other is opened to ensure dogs remain safely contained at all times. You’ll see this system in place during your meet & greet and at drop-off.
We prioritize cleanliness and sanitation in both our home and yard. We use a variety of professional-grade disinfecting products, including Wysiwash, Rescue, Clorox wipes and sprays, and PE-51, to regularly clean and sanitize all areas. Maintaining a clean environment is essential to the health and safety of both your pet and ours.
We have three resident dogs in our home, which you can see on our About Us page. We also have cats, as well as some reptiles and fish. Because of this, dogs with a higher prey drive may not be the best fit for our environment. However, we’re always happy to offer a meet & greet or a trial daycare day to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone before booking a stay.
We typically host 2–3 boarding dogs at a time. This allows us to give each dog the attention, care, and supervision they deserve while maintaining a calm, structured environment.
We aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. If your pet is crate trained, we have crates in all sizes and will continue that routine. If they’re used to sleeping in a bed, they’re welcome to do so here as well. You’re also welcome to bring their own dog bed or any comfort items from home. Our goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and right at home during their stay.
